Name: Mira
Canon: Zero Time Dilemma
Age: 27
Wiki Link: I'm going to refrain from linking one since you don't want spoilers and also I disagree with some of the wiki's assumptions about her.
Character History & Personality:
Mira appears laid-back, rational and friendly, yet blunt and comfortable speaking her mind. When thrust into the Decision Game, a game that requires six people to end up dead, she stays very calm and often keeps her yandere boyfriend Eric from flying off the handle. She sighs or scolds him if he's being an idiot (which is always.) She can be pretty smart herself, since she likes to read and her knowledge shows, but any language that's overly technical she can't follow ... or possibly pretends she can't to keep up her carefree image. A lot of Mira's personality is acting.
When Mira was a child, she was often told she was callous and unfeeling. The truth is, she was never able to feel emotions like anger, sadness, happiness or love - when her mother told her that emotions came from a person's heart, she thought it was unfair that such a thing was hidden inside of them. It took practice even to appear normal, and she mostly learned to imitate emotions by deliberately eliciting them in other people. Though this is mostly done by being playful with people and finding amusement in their reactions, her sense of humor can be dark, and it's not always just words.
Abilities: Feigning emotion, reading, puzzle solving,
Potential Motives: Mira is unpredictable, so it would be possible to get her to kill without it necessarily involving the prize. She can also be extremely spiteful and revenge murder, but in a randomized killing game that does a bit less.
On the other hand, motives targeted at her would probably be the classic "secrets revealed" motive. An "information" motive (like, as an example that's not at all related to Mira, "tell me who killed my parents") could also work.
Moral Leanings: Mira is knowledgeable and understands ethics, based on the cases she occasionally makes. Her own morality, however, is based on cold logic and whatever will be the best outcome for herself. That's not to say she's a hardcore survivalist - several times, she places her life in the team leader's hands over the sheer curiosity of what he will do in the face of these difficult decisions. It's also not to say that she will never be ethical, in fact she usually behaves as long as it's working out for her.
Fears: Hard to have when you don't even feel fear!
Desires: Although she's played with a lot of emotions, Mira has been searching for someone with a comforting heart. She also has an interest in metempsychosis, aka reincarnation, which may imply that she wishes to change herself. It is also highly likely that during the Decision Game, she's trying to find a way to make herself feel emotions, but that's never directly stated.
Would you prefer to be in EGM or CGM?: EGM
Would you be okay with being in the other group?: Yes
Would you be interested in your character having a plot-intensive role?: Wouldn't that be a hoot? I could just handwave all the mole interactions ~
Would you prefer your character to be a victim, a killer, or you don't care?: Killer, but really she could go either way.
Do you want to volunteer your character to be murdered or a killer sometime early on?: Yep, if we need it!
